We are looking for a skilled developers to join our front-end development team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing user interface components using JavaScript concepts and workflows. You will also be responsible for profiling and improving front-end performance and documenting our front-end codebase. The Application Engineer will be responsible for enhancing existing and building new applications for Anautics. The Application Engineer will work on an agile team to design and develop new technology solutions that will help to modernize existing public facing application stacks.

To ensure success as a developer, you should have in-depth knowledge of JavaScript concepts, excellent front-end coding skills, and a good understanding of progressive web applications. Ultimately, a top-class developer should be able to design and build modern user interface components to enhance application performance. Deliver high quality software by working in a team Agile/Scrum environment.

Required Work Experience

• 5+ Years programming experience in modern object-oriented language, with a proven emphasis on React and ReactNative

• 5+ Years of professional development experience

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Expertise in HTML and CSS and Javascript

• Experience integrating with API layer and JSON

• Reviewing application requirements and interface designs.

• Identifying web-based user interactions.

• Developing and implementing highly responsive user interface components using React concepts.

• Writing application interface codes using JavaScript following React.js workflows.

• Excellent teamwork skills and ability to work with other teams as needed to solution applications.

• Troubleshooting interface software and debugging application codes.

• Developing and implementing front-end architecture to support user interface concepts.

• Monitoring and improving front-end performance.

• Documenting application changes and developing updates.

• Or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background

Preferred Traits

• Strong passion for learning new technologies and using them to solve technical problems

• Experience with test driven development best practices across the entire SDLC

• Experience with server-side JavaScript development such as Node.js

• Experience working in a DevOps environment a plus and tooling such as: Bitbucket, Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Jira

• Experience working with Azure cloud-based development tools is ideal, but any cloud-based development tooling is preferred
