Impact
- Turn messy operational data into trusted signals.
- Develop models that support forecasting, prioritization, risk scoring, and decision support.
- Work directly with engineers and domain experts to move models into production workflows.
What you'll do
- Design experiments, features, metrics, and model evaluation strategies.
- Build supervised, unsupervised, and simulation-based models for operational decision making.
- Translate model outputs into clear recommendations, confidence measures, and evidence trails.
- Partner with data engineering and product teams to productionize analytics and models.
What we're looking for
- 5+ years of applied data science, statistics, machine learning, or decision science experience.
- Strong Python and SQL skills.
- Experience with model evaluation, explainability, uncertainty, and data quality issues.
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Must be capable of obtaining and maintaining a Top Secret security clearance.
- Comfort working with ambiguous mission, data, and engineering problems.
- Strong written communication and ability to explain technical decisions to technical and non-technical teams.
Preferred experience
- AWS experience is a plus, especially secure cloud, GovCloud, serverless, data, or AI services.
- AI, machine learning, LLM, agentic workflow, or decision intelligence experience is a plus.
- Experience in defense, government, manufacturing, aerospace, logistics, or other mission-critical environments is a plus.
