Senior Data Engineer

Impact

  • Create the data foundation for analytics, AI workflows, and decision systems.
  • Build pipelines that handle changing schemas, incomplete data, and strict security requirements.
  • Help teams trust the data they use to make operational decisions.

What you'll do

  • Build batch and streaming data pipelines across structured and unstructured sources.
  • Design data models, validation checks, lineage patterns, and quality controls.
  • Implement secure ingestion, transformation, orchestration, and observability workflows.
  • Work closely with data scientists, software engineers, and mission-facing teams.

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years of data engineering experience.
  • Strong SQL, Python, and production ETL/ELT experience.
  • Experience with data modeling, orchestration, observability, and access control.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Must be capable of obtaining and maintaining a Top Secret security clearance.
  • Comfort working with ambiguous mission, data, and engineering problems.
  • Strong written communication and ability to explain technical decisions to technical and non-technical teams.

Preferred experience

  • AWS experience is a plus, especially secure cloud, GovCloud, serverless, data, or AI services.
  • AI, machine learning, LLM, agentic workflow, or decision intelligence experience is a plus.
  • Experience in defense, government, manufacturing, aerospace, logistics, or other mission-critical environments is a plus.
