Impact
- Create the data foundation for analytics, AI workflows, and decision systems.
- Build pipelines that handle changing schemas, incomplete data, and strict security requirements.
- Help teams trust the data they use to make operational decisions.
What you'll do
- Build batch and streaming data pipelines across structured and unstructured sources.
- Design data models, validation checks, lineage patterns, and quality controls.
- Implement secure ingestion, transformation, orchestration, and observability workflows.
- Work closely with data scientists, software engineers, and mission-facing teams.
What we're looking for
- 5+ years of data engineering experience.
- Strong SQL, Python, and production ETL/ELT experience.
- Experience with data modeling, orchestration, observability, and access control.
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Must be capable of obtaining and maintaining a Top Secret security clearance.
- Comfort working with ambiguous mission, data, and engineering problems.
- Strong written communication and ability to explain technical decisions to technical and non-technical teams.
Preferred experience
- AWS experience is a plus, especially secure cloud, GovCloud, serverless, data, or AI services.
- AI, machine learning, LLM, agentic workflow, or decision intelligence experience is a plus.
- Experience in defense, government, manufacturing, aerospace, logistics, or other mission-critical environments is a plus.
