Impact

What you'll do

  • Design AWS network, identity, compute, data, security, and observability architectures.
  • Guide implementation of infrastructure as code, CI/CD, and operational controls.
  • Review architectures for security, scalability, maintainability, and compliance.
  • Support teams building data platforms, AI systems, and customer-facing applications.

What we're looking for

  • 7+ years of cloud architecture or infrastructure engineering experience.
  • Deep AWS experience across IAM, VPC, compute, storage, databases, security, and monitoring.
  • Experience leading technical design reviews and production cloud migrations.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Must be capable of obtaining and maintaining a Top Secret security clearance.
  • Comfort working with ambiguous mission, data, and engineering problems.
  • Strong written communication and ability to explain technical decisions to technical and non-technical teams.

Preferred experience

  • AWS Professional or Specialty certifications are a plus.
  • AWS GovCloud, FedRAMP, DoD, or classified environment experience is a plus.
  • AWS experience is a plus, especially secure cloud, GovCloud, serverless, data, or AI services.
  • AI, machine learning, LLM, agentic workflow, or decision intelligence experience is a plus.
  • Experience in defense, government, manufacturing, aerospace, logistics, or other mission-critical environments is a plus.
